Our good friend, Skallops, is hosting two Monsterpocalypse events at CaptainCon this year, and it is shaping up to be a great event to kick off a new year of our favorite game. We will start with the Copy Cup on Friday at 6:00 p.m. This is a brand new event wherein players will build a unit and building list for a two-monster game, but chaos will surely ensue as both of your monsters will be Zeerox! Then on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., there will be a standard Crush Hour tournament with the coveted Donut Factory alt sculpt for the Industrial Complex as the prize. What is Monsterpocalypse?
Monsterpocalypse is a tabletop miniatures game by Privateer Press. It blends models with themes from classic kaiju films and monster flicks with a gameplay experience that is enjoyable for casual and competitive players alike. Monsters are the uncontested centerpiece of the game as they rampage through the city and battle each other to the death, destroying buildings and smaller creatures unlucky enough to stand in their path of destruction. The goal of the game is to have the last monster standing.
